tension release on shocks

Hi

Do you do this after racing and if your not racing using the vehicle for a while?
Do you remove the shocks?
Unscrew them?
Release any tension?

Just a thought as I did notice that after I had tension on a merv and not use it for a while, when I did remove the springs they were smaller/compressed

The majority of us dont bother, just a rebuild, refil and were ready for the next event.

what I was thinking as if you have good quality springs then they won't stay compressed
