Sadly... no. At least not without modification. I tried one out tonight. I put up a small review in my TRF502X Musings. It's a bit too wide overall. The drive shafts bind with the outdrive cups when the 502X is bottomed out. Plus, the gear diff doesn't quite fit in the gear box. It's slightly too wide. Although, if 10x15x3 bearings exist, it may fit inside the bear box.

thats a bummer. I have to get one of those gear diffs anyway, but will be interesting to see what other cars it could possibly fit. Someone needs to get onto spec r directly and ask them to make gear diffs for offroad cars too.

and try and find shorter drive shafts, how long are the 502's?

Nice. Give me a little time and I'll try to piece everything together.

The front shafts are 78mm. If I can find a 76mm or 74mm... then, we may be set.

Oh another observation: the TB03 diff ring gear is off by one tooth. So, you would also need to use the TB03 bevel pinion to match.

yes that will change the fdr, however as long as it meshs fine, it'll be ok and I wouldnt be worried too much as long as the front and rear have the same gears.

kyosho zx5sp front shafts are 73mm:thumbsup:

I'm hoping it works out, then I will get the 502 for sure, but at the moment I cant justify adding to my fleet of 5x 4wd's
