2WD Newbie needs advice.
 

Iam going to giving 2WD a go this year as the more i watch them etc...i want one!
I'm not new to off road altogether i currently race 4WD at Nationals and off road masters, i'm an F3 so average ability. I am getting my mitts on a econg hand B4, and obviously never run a 2WD or an associated car, i just wondered if anybody could share any handy tips/info on the car, setups, upgrades etc

You'll find the B4 very easy to drive, its a fantastic car.

Just built it to the manual, except 30wt #1 piston silver spring in rear, and 35wt #2 piston blue spring in front. Then go from there.

So that is the general starting point for setup then?
The car is alreay built by the previous owner but i may strip it own an check everything over etc... Do you generally run any weight in the front en or anywhere else for that matter? I am going to be running a 6.5 losi system in the car to begin with.

When I ran the car I had the ghea front and rear bulkhead and a strip of lead under the lipo 125g it weighed. Look for a bradders setup I always thought they are the best or Rich Lowe you can find them on petite rc. The 30deg hubs help as well they are a option part if not on the car already run a small spur gear 78 I think to move the motor further foreward. Hope this helps Shaun.
