would this work ?
hi all,
on a really high grip track would using front wheels all round on a predator ? Below v http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...ornwall049.jpg Normal v http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/b...ornwall051.jpg |
The higher the grip the more balance to the front normally, so by running slim rear tyres I'd imagine it would be a right handfull.
Why? |
That looks like something RLGfx will try :D just like the old yok days ;)
|
how about a full carpet track ? would it be better for that ?
|
I'd go with Dan's theory to be honest. Even on mega high traction, the Pred can be made to work - we've had them going well at the Belgian GP track.

ok guys thanks for that, just thought id see what people said before running them and finding ive wasted a race lol ! ;)

Who makes those wheels? the ones in the first pic.

HI guys,
I've run the car like this when there's lots of loose grass left over after the mowers have been used, it stops the wheel picking up as much grass and getting jammed... When the grip is good theres no real disadvantage to running the narrow rear wheel set-up, give it a try sometime... Jimarea51 |
The wheel's look like they are from a T.tech P8, you need the P8 drive discs, other than that they fit straight on.
I've got them on my X10, they look great in Black and Red once you've dyed them. I certainly wouldn't go for narrow wheels on the rear, I can't believe you'd have the balance in the car. |
