Dark Impact & VXL???
Hey guys need a little help here.
i want to get a dark impact coz iv heard its a really good buggy and i wana get brushless. i was looking at getting the traxxas vxl system and i was just wanderin what your views on it were??? |
not sure where you are, but the Traxxas stuff isn't as popular in the UK - in fact I've no idea who the importer is. But anyway - im sure it should be a decent system, worth checking what the warranty is maybe? Just make sure it will fit in the df03 chassis first though as there's not a massive ammount of room to play with

hey thanks for the input! im in south africa and traxxas stuff is huge ( every second person owns a revo or a tmaxx). i have a stampede and the quality on that car is awesome! iv jumped of the 1st storey of my friends flat and it just carried on going! i spoke to a guy at the local hobby shop and he said that the only problem might be that the gears would strip if i put gas too quickly. any suqqestions in that department??

and a set of front diff halves to go on the back, and CVD's driveshafts on the front, or the stock dog bones WILL snap....
|
hey dcmthanks for all your input but i dont kinow what a "front diff halve" is or what a "dogbone" or a "CVD's driveshaft" is?? any help?
|
dogbone is the driveshaft that takes the drive from the gearbox to the wheel, a CVD replaces the 'dogbone' and the outer axle and is much stronger.
Diff Half is the metal bits you use when bruilding the diffs, i will get part numbers later. |
thanks dcm. now at least i understand whats going on when u guys are talking!
|
hey guys just another queation: can i put any slipper clutch on my dark impact or do u have to use the tamiya one?
