nice but I thin Ill just buy the conversion kit

ben44 03-02-2011 09:34 PM

This version is stick pack. I hope to have the sample but saddles pack to have some spare parts ;)

damselfly 03-02-2011 10:02 PM

Wonder if all the parts will be interchangeable with the Mad rat? I particularly like the shell. If so, it probably means that Mad rat/Monkey spares will become even more readily available than they currently are.

Hope the kits will be as cheap as the rat !! might be a associated to ansmann converte !!!!

Front end is exactley the same and off the back the items that are the same are the wishbones, hubs, driveshafts, shocks and gearbox internals. So chassis, gearbox housing, rear bulkhead, motor plate and shocktower and shell are different.

So spares are pretty interchangeable between rat and monkeh!! :)

If they are cheap like the madrat I might be tempted to get one instead of the Losi 22!

x2c

The pro version "X2C" retails at £149.99. The basic mad monkey will retail for £69.99 but bear in mind if its like the madrat it will need bearings too, the RTR version will retail at £189.99 which includes 12T brushless & 2.4ghz
(these are RRP)
:)

shocks

shocks on MadMonkey are the same crap like MadRat´s?

colmo 06-03-2011 07:01 PM

I see the Mad Monkey kits are becoming available - RRP is £69.99 and already being discounted.

Considering the midmotor layout and evolutionary improvements carrying over from the Mad Rat, it looks a good deal.

The price increase from the 'rat is to be expected - it was almost too cheap...

I'd be interested to know how the saddle layout in the pro car compares to the stick in this?

Dave Dodd 06-03-2011 10:38 PM

might see a stick pack soon at our club, we already have 3 x2c's and plenty of madrats, will post something when i know..
