B44 front wheel nuts

My front wheel nuts keep coming undone how can I stop this

skyaflake 31-01-2011 12:40 PM

Use threadlock or use your dremel and make some slides in your nuts to let it "grip" on your rims.

make sure they are not old and worn out, new nuts may solve this, or do as skyaflake suggests as a temporary fix.

Also make sure you are using the narrow nuts on the front wheels.

I put mine on backwards so it cut into the nylon. then swapped them back round the right way and it seemed to help

Bit of threadlock on the front axles threads, and a set of new nuts worked for me!

Cheers

JConcepts now do locking wheelnuts that cut into the wheel to stay tight, JC2075 for blue (shiny!) or JC2076 for black (stealth) :D
