Get well soon Chazz!!

Several customers and racers have noticed that Chazz has not been around so much over the last few months and up until yesterday the reason for this has been kept quiet amongst the few poeple who knew to protect his privacy.

Chazz has in fact been serioulsy ill, he had a minor stroke late last year and then shortly after was diagnosed with Cancer of the throat and tongue. His treatment for this has been intense all over the winter months and many of them have been spent in hospital. He also suffered some major setbacks and complications during his treatment and he is very lucky in many ways to still be with us.

Chazz was released from hospital last week and now begins his long recovery and continued treatment from home. He is not out of the woods just yet but is certainly hoping to now turn the corner with recovery.

Whilst the few of us who have known about this over the last few months have respected his wishes to keep this information away from the public, it has also caused issues with questions regarding new items and our most talked about topic - our new 4wd project.

For those who dont know, X-Factory consists of just three main people behind the scenes (plus of course variuos venders and staff in production), Cecilia (Chazzs wife) who runs the books and operates the office, Paul (Chazz's son) who is chief designer, team mananger and of course last year was promoted to President and of course Chazz, who is the face and frontman of the company. In his abscence, there has been huge pressure on Paul and Cecilia, who both have spent much time naturally by Chazz's side during his illness.

There are two reasons I type this, the first is of course to wish Chazz well and as easy and speedy recovery as possible form all of the staff and team drivers here at X-Factory UK and secondly to answer all of those questions from people who have been asking about things such as our 4wd Project. This task is now firmly back in the lap of Paul and whilst he has had little time to move forward on this recently, he now hopes to progress further with this development and get things back on track as this exciting car edges closer to becoming reality for us......

Get Well Soon CHAZZ !!!!

As Darren said, I'm home now. Must go to the hospital for treatment 7 days a week, but I'm home! However, I mostly sleep. Whenever I can I look at the computer, and so thank all you guys for for kind thoughts and prayers.

It's always sad to hear a bad news...especially from a lovely team such as Xfactory!
So as we say in France: "bon rétablissement Chazz et reviens vite!!!"
