Glitching.....

Hello,

I have a slight glitch with my electrics - once turned on the steering will every now and again twitch on its own. If i unplug the personal transponder it seems to stop however....

I have the below setup:

KO 40 mhz receiver
PT
LRP Sphere Competition Speedo
Sanwa 6v Digital Servo

I have tried plugging in a capacitor into the BAT slot on the receiver but then nothing works at all.

Can someone give me a nice simple solution?

Regards
Gareth

Where is your PT mounted?

I've had trouble before when i mounted mine on top of the servo (but only with certain servos) Or perhaps if it's too close to the receiver?

my brother had a similar problem at the weekend with his f1 car he had his electics all over the place so got him to tidy them up and away from the receiver wire and that solved it.he thought it was to do with his pt but just down to messy electrics.i always try keeping wires at least 1inch away from my receiver wire.

My PT is mounted on the servo which is also next to the receiver...

I did undo all the wires and made sure they were away from each other, but it made no difference.

I shall move the PT and see if that makes any difference.

glitch

if you run a pred, put the PT near the outer-side of the motor. you'll find your glitch should stop then.

and the prize for the correct answer goes to.......

Migsy!

Cheers for the advice, worked a treat moving the PT to rear end of the car. I put it on the battery strap in the end :)
