Top Gear - Again!

Couple of months ago TG mag ran an editorial column that said "while the TV guys on the other side of the office will go and do the same things again this year, we will innovate" blah blah blah. Well, as usual I set the Sky series-link last night and sat down to watch the recorded show. Got to say, it was lame. I like the Skoda Yeti for a start so I thought the contrived "tests" were a bit daft but hey any publicity is good publicity right. The rest was just plain boring, the Beetle-drop was just throwing money away for the sake of it, it wasn't even that interesting. And then to top it off they must have thought "Lets pretend its the 80's again and trot out some knackered old stereotypes about Scousers" when they did the gag at the end about having your wheels nicked. May even looked uncomfortable doing it. I think I'm definately getting too old .

Cancel your series link then. Problem solved!

Being a born and bred scouser (and proud of it) i just knew they would do something like that. John bishop is a top bloke and i'm made up he beat that short arse yank by 1.5 seconds  He said getting that time must be in his genes (refering to it being stolen, another stereo type) shame the genes don't run off on me with my RC cars

I'm with DCM, it's still the best thing on telly, even if it's a bit same-ish.
Long may it continue.
