Cheers Matt

purplenut 21-01-2011 10:17 PM

nope lol

mattJT 21-01-2011 10:19 PM

sorry...

the "www.yourlink" bit needs to be your page and the your clickable text bit, needs to be what you want to call your link.

Give us a minute and i'll post yours.........

mattJT 21-01-2011 10:24 PM

type this but take out the spaces as before....

[ URL="http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=61495"]My Feedback[ /URL]

should when no spaces =

My Feedback

lets hope it works.......

mattJT 21-01-2011 10:25 PM

 it worked

purplenut 21-01-2011 10:32 PM

So (SORRY) what do i a to do now?
And where lol

mattJT 21-01-2011 10:38 PM

basically, in the above post where there's the full version of your link, copy and paste that into your signature, then delete the space by the first URL and the space by the 2nd URL.

Then when you post the signature, will just show my feedback

ps once you've taken out the spaces you won't see it as just the two words until you post it.

I had to put the two spaces in to show you, as otherwise will just post as two word link.

purplenut 21-01-2011 10:45 PM

When you say the SPACE what is the spaceas there is no space is it between {}[]?

mattJT 21-01-2011 10:50 PM

the first space is at the very start between

[spaceURL

and the second is

at the end

feedback[space/URL

so the start looks like [URL and the end is feedback[/URL

purplenut 21-01-2011 10:51 PM

aaaaaaahhhhhhhh
what am i doing wrong?

mattJT 21-01-2011 10:59 PM

erm, well you've got the two word link there, but not the link itself, just tried it out on my signature and worked (sorry)?

All I can suggest is to make sure that the text has copied and pasted correctly? there's no reason why the link I posted (when spaces taken out) shouldn't work??????

(I wonder if your signature content is overall too long tho, there's quite a lot in there)

mattJT 21-01-2011 11:08 PM

nothing wrong with length of your signature....copied and pasted it into mine and works fine.

So must be something going awry when you copy and paste the above link, a spot of punctuation must be missing?

Try centering your signature, just tried to do the same link to your other tamiya link, but wouldn't work as was too long, so centering the signature could save you characters?
