fs to fs2

Anyone with an fs and wanting to try the fs2 rear instead of buying the new rear shafts at £40 you can remove the 2mm washer from the outside of the hub and just place it on the inside, this in effect shortens the axel and lenghtens the dog bone,so youd just need to buy wishbones and hubs.

That would give a totally different feel to the back of the car Matt, all to do with how the center of articulation interacts with the effective axle path from the rear geometery.

I am not 100% sure but it would be worth checking how much dogbone plunge there is into the diff outdrive too (might be ok as it's quite close to the end of the outdrive in standard trim).

Used to use that adjustment a lot on a previous car that also had spacers in that area to affect how the suspension binds up under drive / braking load, also one of the main reasons some of the Losi drivers used to alternate between CVD and UJ type driveshafts to tune the feel of the back end for different conditions.
