I have posted here a video of Hupo going large at the end of the UFO race.

The weekend was great fun despite being a long way off the pace which we knew we always would be.

Never really got to grips with the one big jump all weekend which proved to be my downfall as even on my cleanest runs I needed marshalling a couple of times. Rest of track was not that difficult - small jumps and a "wall of death" which was not a problem.

Having never run a modern buggy on a indoor track with jumps and turning up with cars set up for Torch meant it was a bit of a steep learning curve for both driving and car set up - particularly on the saturday I never really felt happy with car until the final!

Definitely up for it again next year if we can get a few of us going but might see if I can get up to Taplow for a bit of practice first...

For me it was a weekend of not delivering much, but still good fun.

Big thanks to Steve for helping wrench the Durango when I was badly running out of time. It was a monster until the front ARB went on.

Cougar SV was good, but I was lacking top end. Rebind of Spektrum and resetting ESC sorted that, but all too late.

Would I do it again, yes but it's a mission and hard. 120 drivers would be nicer rather than 150!

Thought it was going to be a nightmare as arrived on Friday and within two laps I'd split the rear shock tower on the Cougar SV.

Loved the Mickey Scott interview :lol: on the Oople race report.
