Phoned Virgin Media today to set up caller display for my mother's land line

Caller display is now free, used to be £2 a bill

You need to phone them to get it though as I was told it's not getting promoted

Free on BT as well, just add the security package to your landline

free on talk talk too, just need to select the option through your account online.

Most phones with a screen will display the caller's id in the same way as a mobile Steve. So if you've bothered programming people's numbers into your phone it'll display their name.
