yeah just seen the pictures, its not the proper tower as it screwed in to the ball joint holes and not the screw holes, looks alot like the x6 tower maybe

I used the SX10/Xpro Carbon fiber tower in a race after breaking the stock one.
I had to dremel the mounting holes a little to the insite but it was an easy fit. Since the tower wasn't agled I mounted the shocks on the front instead of the rear. There was a bigger gap between the body and tower and the wing was sligtly backward (more like the X6) I now have modified my tower to fit in front of the bulkhead. I will try it soon. I havent broke any stock tower since I boiled them though... |
Ahh so you have seen my car :) the tower is the same shape as an x6 one although it isn't one it's one I have milled at home notice the 2 higher mounting holes not used st the moment I have also made a rear brace to use these holes now all I am doing is waiting for a spare min to Cnc them on my mill watch this space

So on your carbon tower you won't be screwing the gearbox top screws in, so the gearbox and the tower are now screwed to the chassis as two separate units. Hows the flex on the plastic t chassis brace
