expensive month!

the last two months have been pretty expensive, but feburary is going to be just as bad :woot: will be investing in a Personal transponder, custom shell, lunsford titanium shocks with rpm ends, rear alu gearbox mounts, rebuild both diffs, shock boots, and some sexy gold washers from the 410 im hoping this will come to an end soon :woot:

It all depends on the state of your marriage/relationship. :)

captainlip 22-01-2011 12:05 PM

Stop me now!

in the last 48 hours iv e bought front and rear atomic carbon towers, carbon brace, 2 spring sets, front and rear wishbone spares, hpi o-rings, front and rear diff oil, 48t crown spur, 25t alloy horn, screw tray, diff grease.

still to come.... tresrey steering, custom shell, alloy steering arm, titanium turnbuckles and rpm cups with titanium ball cups

purplenut 22-01-2011 12:37 PM

OUCH:thumbsup:

Phil - just another potential to add to your list. I ran the dBoots Multibytes front and back at Southport open track on Sunday. The track was damp, but not wet and I felt the tyres were an ideal compromise between Schuy yellow mini spikes and Ballistic greens.

Oh, and in 6 races I didn't break anything - a first for my Durango, and I still have the plastic saver fitted - but looser than before.

If you can't stop now you never will. Getting big bores soon?

captainlip 31-01-2011 12:09 AM

now that months out the way this months shopping list is alloy rear gearbox mounts, gold washers, alloy steering arm (if i can find the sexy silver one), titanium turnbuckles and rpm ends, more spring sets, may front engraved caster blocks.

after that some tresrey parts, already have the servo saver.

this week ive rebuild the diffs and shocks, it never ends :D

I fully agree. Go for the 410 Full Fat and you haven't finished, you then need to buy:-
  • Plastic side bars to get more flex.
  • Titanium, turnbuckles, rod ends and ball studs to stop the standard cheapo's popping off.
  • Tresrey aluminium servo saver.
