StepUp Stinger mid motor
This it's my StepUp Stinger. It handled nice enough but I was eager to try mid motor because it's the new trend in 2wd. With a broken driveshaft and chassis, I had the oportunity to start messing with it

Not finished so it flexes a little to take it to the dirt. A pair of Slash driveshafts arrived yesterday so I should finish this over the weekend |
A little update, I finished it. The Slash driveshafts fit better than stock's. Bolted the gearbox to the chassis and all feels stiffer. I'm waiting for a B4 idler to do a 4th conversion(On dirt, I've noticed that it don't have the traction it had before.
Other stuff I'm waiting: A set of traxxas rims for the front, a set of Proline Gladiators M3 and battery straps Only needs team decals and maybe the wing http://i53.tinypic.com/e7fdle.jpg For the rear section, my first idea was using aluminium but a sheet of plastic would be nice. Only don't know which one, Delrin, maybe? carbon fiber is awesome but I'm afraid it snaps |
