410r slipper shims ?
 

hi. can some one give me some advice on the two 1mm slipper shims.which go one each side of the spur gear bearings.ive been racing the car and it sounds like the pinion and spur are not meshed properly but it is.all the diff are shimmed fine and are very smooth.but ive just looked through the manual and noticed that ive not put the two 1mm shims in each side of the spur gear bearings! could this be the causing the noise problem or could it be something else any ideas :eh?:
