Just a little query
 

Hi all

Just got a tam mini 03 with a slightly tatty shell. Now can happily put abit of gaffer tape on to remedy the small cracks.

However in some areas the paint really has flaked off....so my query is, is there a good/easy way to remove all the paint that is on the shell, so can either repaint or just decal up?

removing paint allways seems more trouble than its worth IMO may as well get a new shell plus it gives the car a extra lil bling to it :thumbsup:

I've used break fluid to quite good effect before.

Although, for the time n effort involved wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new shell?

Kinda thought the main advice would be to buy a new shell :)

Will race the shell as is till it dies me thinks then, TBH car only cost me 40 posted, so feels abit wierd to pay out alot for a new shell.

Agree tho that a new shell with some custom graphics on will be nice in the future tho :drool:
