does anyone know where i can get some fibreglass sheeting to make a chassis?

It's not particularly cheap, but the only one I know of. You probably want 2.5mm fibreglass

As cfr said I think fiberlyte do a carbon with frp inbetween so it's cheaper, I used to have some for scratch building mini/saloon stocks so anyone who makes these should be able to supply you some but I'm not sure who does it. Hope this has helped a bit

They call it CSC, This is a composite made from Carbon and Silica or glass fibres. Have seen it made with glass fibres in a carbon sandwich or carbon in a fibre-glass sandwich.

Where did you end up getting it from ?
