xp or savox?

Hi,

I'm looking at buying a new servo at the moment and came across the savox SC1258 and the Associated xp DS1313. There both almost exactly the same price and pretty much the same speed and torque. I'll be using it for racing in my b4 by the way. Just wondering if anyone has any experience in using them and which one they would go for?

Thanks,

Andrew, :)

savox has a better set of gears

Do you like orange?

Either is good, and both have won a BRCA National...
I personally have the XP servos as they are heavier, and dont require as much ballast, especially in the front of the B4!

Hope this helps..
Mark

I read that some of the savox servo's had centring issues? don't if this is true or not though :eh?:

First ive heard and ive run Savox for 3 years!!

Savox are fit and forget!! XP/Ace are just not as reliable as they used to be!!

I'm guessing the savox will fit fine in a b4 right?

i don't think there is anything between them, i run both and they have run now for the last two seasons with no problem from either of them.
