14 Gauge wire?
 

Ive just recieved some 14 gauge and notice its noticably thinner than 12 gauge.

is there any issues with using 14G? and performance issues etc?

14 gauge wire is thinner then 12 gauge, the higher the number the thinner. It will be fine using it, but I wouldnt go any finner then 14 gauge.

just read somewhere with search function that a thinner wire may lose current and increase heat, but shouldnt be noticable
