best springs for dex410/r

whats the best spring options? apart from the kit springs ive just ordered dark red and dark green for the rears.

thinking this should save on the anti roll bar.

sound about right? :D

If you look at the setup sheets on the Durango website some show that you might need light green springs for the front. (I think)

Fronts seem spot on to me

Never used reds on the rear think there the hardest ones arn't they ?Never used a roll bar on the rear either usually run light green or light blue springs

Hi, were you running a one colour, silver or white car today?

I watched your car and it seemed too soft on the front which was making it pitch into corners and it looked a bit tricky to drive.

My advice would be 35 wt oil in the front and dark blue springs and move the front camber link on the shock tower to the top position on the inside (nearest gearbox, this should calm the front end down.

If that wasn't your car then ignore me!

yeah thats me  yeah white and silver backed, running stock springs blue/dark blue

was yours the one leading the a-final? i was trying to scope about at other peoples setups as today was first time out with the rango and did suprisingly well.

Yeah, that was me, the Durango does have a lot of steering but it is possible to calm it down and make it easier to drive. Try the set up I suggested, also you can move the front shocks to the outside hole on the wishbone to make things easier.

captainlip 02-01-2011 11:01 PM

yes already on the outside on the front and back, turned the steering down to 90% which helped loads, less twitchy. wanted to pop over and steal your setup but thought that be a tad rude.
