budgio 18-12-2010 10:39 PM

Nice car gerbil
Now about those shocks ... check your pm

Tom3012 18-12-2010 11:13 PM

Buy some big bores! I might have some non threaded ones somewhere?

ben44 19-12-2010 09:27 AM

Yes the Ansmann shocks are very good, and it's most easier to have the same setup as the pro driver

nosequehacer 19-12-2010 10:10 AM

Nice car กกก Take big bore, sure. 78$ in tcmodels.net

fastinfastout 22-12-2010 11:40 AM

is this the same car as the Team C TC02C but with the rtr version shocks and battery tray?

also the team c comes with the saddle pack chassis as standard, and the stick pack as a conversion.

nicefrog 22-12-2010 02:22 PM

That's probably built on the madrat, but yep same car. You can get the conversion from madrat/xpro/tc02 in either saddle or stick pack versions

notme 22-12-2010 06:25 PM

Fwiw: Im not sure if the chassis width is different between the saddle and stick, and if they use different bodies. Something to keep in mind.

gerbil 22-12-2010 06:52 PM

the chassis and body shell with the stick /saddle pack chassis are a lot different in width wise and looks (the shell)
but the conversions are the same price i ve only got stick packs at the min so thats the chassis i bought
when i get some saddle s sorted ill be buying the chassis and shell to convert it to that chassis
im awaiting arrival of my b4 shocks to put them on
then ill be giving it a good test session

think that is saddles yeah

Tom3012 23-12-2010 12:56 AM

Im 90% sure the 'pro' version of this car is saddles and the basic and rtr version are stick pack, i could be wrong though

gerbil 24-12-2010 04:36 PM

lets face it
which ever it is pro or rtr
it will be middle of the pack with me behind the transmitter lol:thumbsup:
well me associated shocks turned up today (thanks mr postman and budgio)so there all fitted and im already to give it a good old outing when the bloddy snow disapears:thumbdown:
ill let you all know how i get on with it

I ended up getting mine from rcmodel hk and its the team c version.

comes with top notch shocks, better than ae, and on par with kyosho.

also comes as saddle pack chassis, however I'm going to the stick pack route like yours for more weight towards the rear.

do you know what weight bias you have in yours at the moment?

Kusal 29-12-2010 10:47 PM

Hi all,

What would be the max height of a saddle pack that you could fit in?
Would 31 mm be too high?

Greetz.

Kusal 29-12-2010 10:59 PM

Sorry, double post!

fastinfastout 31-12-2010 07:28 AM

I tried 31mm saddle lipo and it will fit if you shim the battery post around 5mm or so.

Kusal 02-01-2011 09:30 PM

Perfect!
Thanks.
PS: I thougt that it would hit the body which is currently being painted!

fastinfastout 03-01-2011 12:49 AM

you might need to lower the rear body holes to raise the body a little, no drama however
