which 6.5t motor?

I have ordered a nosram pearl esc and want to know what to run as a motor inside my durango!

my only experiance is with Speed passion.

Out of those motors the only one I have used is the Tekin. Doubt i will ever need to worry about buying another brand motor. Best motor out there.

I like the Losi motors, nice and smooth and plenty fast (for me anyway). The bonus is they're quite cheap too.

Personally i prefer the nosram pure, they've got bags loads of tourque, you wont find a faster motor out there. I do think they run slightly hotter then most motors and they're a tad pricey:(
If you want a smooth motor then go for a losi or speed passion, the only thing is that the losi motors are built down to a price
But it all comes down to budget.

I would say run a brushless motor. Oh that's the poll, well ok run a speed-ram-line-x12 then you are covered!!!

TBH dood, most BL motors are very good now a days, having a poll like this really solves nothing. You will run what ever motor you want and will be happy or not, so have at it!!!

But Mr Christopher will not be happy unless we stop these silly polls!!! Hehe

Try a Graupner Sport.

The 6.5 has just over 1HP! :woot:

Totally overpowered but they do run very cool.

Dc I think everyone should have a poll especially a pointless one

Forgetting about Novak?

RogerM 17-12-2010 09:01 AM

I would normally have said Speed Passion all day long but after trying the latest Orion motors I'm a convert. VERY smooth, very fast and seem to be very well built.

Orionis definitely worth consideration too.

Ill second that ive got the latest generation of Orion Speedo, and that ironed out a sensorless motor so if thats anything to go by the motor will be like butter

GM/Graupner by a country mile !!

Who cares? Another thread where "what I run is always best"...
There are extremely few people who will have run more than 2 makes of motor in the last season, so without trying most their opinions are void.
There are no bad motors on the market as far as I'm aware.
Personally I'd run the same make motor as speedo.

Motor

None would run a novak but personnel preference unless you have to run one
