TC02C First Run

Yesterday was the first time out with the car other than up the garden to make sure everything was ok.

I have to say the car was so easy to drive and although conditions at times were very slippy to say the least i could keep pushing the car without it becoming to unstable,i seemed to land a good setup that made the car feel planted yet still very quick and agile, and for its first run putting the car in the A i was more than happy with.

Also a big thankyou to eric wilcox (CONCEPT RACING) for his help yesterday and i look forward to to getting more track time and better results with the car as next season approaches

completed mid rat build

Just finished my mid build using the stick conversion from tcmodels and a basic mad rat. Some issues with the build on the threading of the chassis using the screws and ripping out the screw hexes so for anyone else i would pre tap the holes in the bottom of the chassis using a m3x.5mm tap first. The dots on the shell didn't match up on the chassis to the mounting pegs but the car went together very well. All in all the total cost of building a stick celled mid rat is £45 for the car,£9.99 for all ballraces including the stearing,$87 for the conversion and postage (£57) total £111.99p.Can't wait to race it (snow go away it's not fun any more)
