Cutting my first wing

Hi all

Going to be brave and cut my first wing out (J concepts 7" for B44).

Have managed to never need to do this before so thought I'd check to see if any tips before I set out.

Can see a kinda prescored/indented line running throught the wing....am guessing that this simply is the line to follow...and pretty much once line followed round job done?

Cheers

yep thats pretty much it or you can use a pair of lexan scissors and tidy it up with a dremmel on lowest setting just be sure you dont keep it on to long and melt it lol

use a scalple - "firmly" score the lines with a steady hand (put the whiskey to one side), and then bend it over to snap it off in a clean line.

Often also best to do it in "sections" due to the 3D nature of these things - so use some scissors to cut through the unwanted lexan up to the score line.

Cheers guys

 thanks for the tips guys, no chance of melting with the dremmel tho.....dont' have one of these in me tool box yet :(

Dagnammit, spirits not allowed when cutting:thumbdown: lol

Gonna use the mrs crafting tools to do the job, so a combination of scalpals, scissors and whatever she's got that's sharp.

Thanks again for the help.
