losi xcelorin updades (help)
 

I have got a xcelorin combo which has not been used for a while. It looks as if was last updated in feb 09. Can someone let me know what to do to update it and if it will need updating?
Do you need to do all updates between the last one and the current one or will updating from the latest one do the lot?

PS it is a 1/10 ESC

If it is working fine i would leave it alone. Unless you need something from one of the updates it may not be worth the risk.

Xcelorin updating
 

Having just done this myself its quite easy, no drama.

Go to the losi website and download the lastet firmware version for the type of speedo you have.

Connect the speedo to your PCvia the xcelorin software, click 'update firmware' select the file you have downloaded and let the software do the rest.

I went from late 2009 to the most recent firmware without issue.
What benefitI will get I am unsure of.

Just make sure you check you're doing the right download. There's the Xcelorin and the Xcelorin S, the S is the sensored version but the firmwares are different.
If you use the firmware for the unsensored version then your sensored one will stop working!
