ansmann blizzard motor choices
will a blizzard run an ezrun 5-5t? or will i be melting parts all day long?
|
only 1 way to find out:woot::woot::woot::woot::woot:
Can't see why you will melt anything provided the diffs are properly shimmed and the car is ballraced. |
Hi, read my thread: "Problems with Ansmann Blizzard- choose a X4 Pro". I used a Gm Dr. Speed 12t Delta Bl motor with a 2s lipo and the rear center outdrive (the cheap plastic part) melted completely! You can buy the center cvd's to solve this problem (30$ from Hong Kong)

HI Guys i run a 4.5 turn in my X4 but the blizzard does not have a slippy so depending how aggresive you are with the power it would be ou if you dont throttle jam.
Thanks Chris |
i would say you be fine with it when i ran my zx5 i had no problems with melting parts a bit of greese will solve any friction problems you may get here
|
what about the plastic drive cups on the centre diff?will they be able yo cope with the power,i think the motor rating is 6000kv

There is a Blizzard runs at my club with the Ezrun 5.5t - goes very nicely as well. It might have an X4 Slipper in there though.

was thinking a blizzard will get me racing quicker as i have motor (but needs a new esc) and i have stick packs already but was planning on dropping the slipper in as soon as money permits
just got to wait till next terms student loan then i will be back racing again |
