gnr racer 25-11-2010 07:45 PM

Is it worth the money?? for what it is

KRob 25-11-2010 07:56 PM

The B44.1 isn't in the UK yet but will here soon
Should be middle to end of next week :-)

jamiew 25-11-2010 08:21 PM

Was gonna pre order one from je spares but think there all taken.

anyone no of anyone thats got any pre orders free??

markwilliamson2001 25-11-2010 11:00 PM

Apart from the v2 shocks, mine is almost a b44.1 anyway, so I am not going to bother parting with any money :woot:

I also havent got on with the new motor mount, which while being much more secure, I found it much harder to set the mesh. Not knocking the product as such, it just didnt suit my method of working!

Good luck with your choice

I was not aware that CML had sold out of their first allocation/shipment, we added more to our own first delivery earlier this week to ensure we have free (available) stock when they arrive without any problems, give us a call if you are stuck finding one available

NitroArgi 26-11-2010 07:25 AM

Yeap!

I got mine late last week...haven't start building yet but there are some new features that I like with the car.

Setup is different with heavier oils and 81 middle spur, lipo chassis is narrower in front and loved the blue anodized screws

Other than that the new manual is an upgradr but shocks, slipper are just like my B4.1 and the quality in B44.1 seems a little bit better....loved the Punisher shell up close!

If you need anything else (pics etc) let me know

Regards
Argi

Plus it makes sense to just sell your "old" B44 and add some cash to get the updated one...I did the math and for me it was cheaper to buy the B44.1 instead upgrading my 2 year old B44 to the new specs

stuey 26-11-2010 02:24 PM

I just bought a B44 off a fellow Oopler, has lots of upgrades already on the car. The only thing that looks much different for me is drilling 2 new servo mount holes, and changing to a 81 spur. Luckily for me anyway! What seems a bit strange is that the Punisher shell will only come with the kit, so how will you get a new one once the kit one needs replacing???
Not that I want one, think its fugly personally but each to their own

NitroArgi 26-11-2010 04:14 PM

JConcepts will sell the Punisher shell seperately...however it will NOT fit the B44 since the front part of the carbon chassis is narrower in the B44.1

We are still taking pre-order from the 1st batch, as KRob quoted, due mid to late next week.

Can you post some pics to see difference between old and new chassis
