Losi XXXCR Gearing For a 8.5T

I have just ventured into brushless can anyone help me out with gearing for the above 8.5t X12 Lrp in my xxxcr. I was thinking a 24 pinion on a 78 spur?

A 8.5t brushless should be a 14 or 15 turn brushed?

I was running a very similar gear ratio at the moto arena with an 8.5 turn - however the straight is very very long!

I could gear it up if I have a open track, so either a 24pinion or 25 pinion on a 78 is a good starting point...
