Real men wear black?
 

Not sure about the new slogan..
In my case I think 'Real men wear knitted cardigans' or maybe 'Real men wear flanelette nighties', would be more suitable and probably less embarassing...Any ideas for a fresh slogan?

I don't care what they call them to be honest. I purchased the RMWB battery stand off kit and it's a fantastic addition to my X6, great bit of kit. It's only written on the header card which goes straight in the bin :p

Real men wear Pink? And smoke a pipe! Eh gord!?

Real Men take orders from the misses :p.

Real men make a mean prawn cocktail and can make lumpy mash real smooth. :lol:

Paul's Personal Line
 

X Factory honors its Team Drivers. They make our company. Because of that, Ellis has his own line of products, E-Speed, and Brian has Dirtz Dialed Partz. In each case, the parts are designed or used personally by that driver and the driver has selected the color.

We wanted a line for our chief engineer Paul. If you'll look at various pix of Paul's cars, you'll find there is very little blue on them. Paul is not flashy, does not grandstand. He's a serious race driver and engineer who is ballistic on the track. Catch him at a race and ask to look at his X - 6 Sq. Paul, Brian, and Ellis work closely together -- no part of Paul's cars are untouched by the Dremel. Paul's car is black, with black- or clear-anodized aluminum.

I like the Dremel one!-How about some pics of Pauls car so we can all do similar?-Adding lightness instead of lead weights?

A couple of pics of Iains car, bought well used but it's been brilliant!, converted us after many years running B2's 3's 4's and 4.1.(and a very short spell with a cougar sv).

Paul, Brian, and Elllis, along with all our Team drivers, modify their cars extensively. Kinwald is King of The Dremel, and Paul is catching up fast to the master. There is no part on Paul's car that has not been smoothed a bit, and most have been modified to test new ideas.

X Factory will fight the Dremel image to its grave. The simple fact is that you can't convert a xx-4 to single belt drive without modifying some of the original xx-4 parts. Those who won championships with the X - 5 loved their cars. Those who couldn't or didn't want to do that work made fun from the sidelines.

In Paul's hands the Dremel is like an artist's brush -- the end result is a thing of beauty. So, yes, take a close look at our Boyz' cars -- you can see the future of R/C taking shape right before your eyes.

We don't make a big public stink about it, waving the latest experiment around like we're saving the world. We just go faster every day.

All I will say about Dremel work is that the company I work for, who I can't name on forums, is one of THE world class automotive component suppliers and we work to sub micron tollerences. Even in that enviroment you will often find a Dremel type tool opperated by a steady hand is the only way to achieve certain things.

As Chazz says, it can have the deft touch of an artists brush .... or if your a ham-fisted fool like me the touch of a slightly simple gibon with a twitch ;)
