right my question is i have a fg leopard that has been tuned to the hilt and is very quick my problem is stopping it please can some one tell me when i use hydraulic breaks with fibre pads should i be using fibre disks or steel disks many thanks malcolm |
steel pads with fiber disks or carbon disks. they give the most consistant bite, lasst for ages to, you usualy find that the wheel square rounds out well before the disks wear to thin, cheap price for super brakes.

When using front or rear discs on a LS car its better to use steel wheel squares, the alloy ones don't stand a chance. Harm or Mecatech brakes are the ones to go for with Oddified pads & Oddified larger discs. On the rear its best to stick with the layshaft brake, as using discs on the rear of an offraod car is not a good idea. Sell the Leopard & get a Hormann  |
agreed a hormann is far better right out of the box and you can get base cars for naff all or teamkit cars secondhand for under a grand rtr usually! (cheaper than adding alloy to an fg in the long run)

Go into forum help where you can find the solution of your problem where to put thread about leopard.:D

current atm: fuego tt10 £1499 fuego base £1242 hormann ht2 anni £1299 harmBX3 BASE £1190 BX3 COMP £1550 |
and just to stir things right up, an fg marder won at contrasts end of season friendly in spain last november, beating contrasts, horman, hpi baja's in the outlaw class:thumbsup:
