TRCC & 'The WareHouse'

see TRCC home page for info

We're having to move after 14 happy years @ The Warehouse :(

Thanx to some hard work from the committee not seen by the club members we have a new venue :D

Hope those of you that practiced & raced @ The WareHouse will come and do the same @ the new venue

Sounds like an OK venue, shame about the warehouse though, really liked that place, thought it had a bit of character.

In the new venue is there enough space to set up both onroad and offroad at the same time?

All I know is what you can read on the club site

If it's smaller and we have it all day we may be able of run TC on a morning & off-road in the afternoon or visa-versa.

Always sad when a venue closes its doors, but most of us knew that the time would come one day, in a sense the club is fortunate to have been at the warehouse for so long.

Good luck at the new venue, I hope it is as well supported as the club has been over the years.

Wow, itll be really weird being somewhere else. Oh well, at least the future of the club isnt as hazy as it was before

Format for the New Venue Announced

see the 2008 calendar page

Better dust off and rebuild my touring car :D Its better for me as its only round the corner, parents wont moan about petrol money anymore :eh?:

So this means onroad one week and offroad the next, guess thats pretty logical, less tidying up, less hassle building tracks, just need constant attendance in each class.

Gutted. I started racing at TRCC a week or two after they got into the warehouse.

Will there be a big last meeting at the warehouse? I know I for one would like to have one last race there before I hang up the transmitter for good.

MIKE LEONARD ENDURANCE MEETING is on the calendar for Sunday 13th January or is that to small or are looking for something else?

Don't know what the Closing Meeting will be though

LiamD 26-10-2007 12:34 PM

I kinda meant the last Saturday or Sunday before it closes.

It would be awesome to get a load of top 12th drivers and top off road drivers up here for one last big meeting.

I cant see why we cant run both classes on the same day, all it means is that we place jumps/bumps stategically for the Buggies & the Tourers drive around the jumps, easy to sort really just takes a bit more time (& thought) to lay out & put away.
At least i hope thats what we can do as it will hopefully keep the attendance up for both classes.

Kash 26-10-2007 02:20 PM

I quite agree Barry I don't see why it can't be done.

LiamD 27-10-2007 11:33 AM

Good luck whatever happens.

Sure things will work themselves out...
