moving rear turnbuckles?

Would there be any reason why i should not move the rear turnbuckles ball behind the hub so the turnbuckle doesnt obstruct the suspension? Make sense? :D

Rather than the turnbuckles been in line they are now in a v shape but so long as it doesnt affect handing id like to keep it this way.

Anybody? Seemed to work fine yesterdays racing

They will be more likely to come off, and there will be a bit more play and flex in the suspension. Ideally you want them straight.

Either way i put it the hubs vibrate like crazy, why is this?

Wheels out of balance.

Either balance by adding weight. Same as full size car. You can also take your time a little more next time when glueing up a set of tyres. I found that making sure everything was smack on, pretty much resulted in a vibration free assembly.

I do have to question what you say about the turnbuckles. they performed as normal and had a few spins and bashes and one didnt pop off in all 5 sessions. will look at the suspension flexing.

it would be much better in this position.

Personally speaking, i can't see you gaining any advantage with what you are doing with your turnbuckle links.

Dale is correct with what he said.

There is no advantage to be had apart from the turnbuckle now is out the way of the suspension spring, as it was fouling the spring, now of course its not making contact
