Jimmy's Racer special article

Hi Jimmy, saw your article about RC action shots in the latest RC racer special. Just like to say thanks, you were very consise, and helped me choose a good camera. You have inspired me to take up photography with the cool shots you have on your site, thanks mate:D

Not actually seen it yet, Saw the magazine on Richard Taylors table at Tivvy but didn't get chance to look. I'll have to wait for my copy, hope it looks nice :)

I found the article useful but the layout of Racer really doesn't do the photos much justice, they are either postage size or the strong white background bleeds out the visual impact of the pictures.

Cheers,
Neil.

Cheers mate, but aye, I had nothing to do with the layout in the mag.:)

yeah, they shrunk those ace diagrams down to the size of postage stamps, hard to see:D

Jimmy, what month was the article in. I'm looking to purchase a new camera for capturing some Mid-West action next year. So all the help in choosing the right model and getting the best shot would be great.

It was in the "special" a couple or 3 months ago, though it is essentially the same article as I have in the reviews&articles section on here! :)

If you are looking for a camera, I think you came to the right place since there are a few of us here with them, so feel free to ask away and im sure you'll get some help.
You just need to decide what your budget is and what sort of photos you'll take.

Some helpful sites around for looking at cameras, dpreview.com is one of the best.
