I admire your imagination Tel, you put some great variation into your designs. You should have got the guy that owns the RB5 to clean his wheels though  :p

Lovin' the stickers ;):D

Ps What Chrome do you use? I can't find one I like. I use Faskolor for everything else but their chrome is just a heavy silver.

PaulRotheram 06-10-2007 10:55 PM

Them stickers look familiar actually!

Great minds ;):p

some great work there tel!

Body Paint - hi mate, i use alclad chrome. its the only one ive tried, but seems to work well

AndyM 07-10-2007 04:57 PM

awesome stuff there tel!!
:D

telboy 07-10-2007 09:37 PM

I use the Alclad chrome too. I don't like using any chrome really, as its really tempremental and doesn't adhear to the shells very well.
But if I'm asked to put it on shells then its alclad. I'd like to try the 'Spaz-Stix' stuff but can't seem to get it anywhere.

the faskolor chrome is useless. its just a glitter silver, nothing like chrome at all.

A FANTASTIC alternative is Tamiya 'semi gloss-annodsed alluminium silver' its no quite as 'mirror like' as chrome but its just as nice to see, PLUS it stays on the shell when you crash it or it gets wet.

Thanks for the stickies, Adam was well impressed that he can now have red logo's on his car now.:D

bigred5765 07-10-2007 09:43 PM

tel i started to cover my shells with the faskoat all the time now, on every shell it seams to make it more flexable and kinda stops 99% of the paint from flaking and is 100% water and nitro proof

telboy 07-10-2007 09:52 PM

is that the thick gooey stuff?
does it affect the chromes mirror ability?

do you thin it down at all?

bigred5765 07-10-2007 09:55 PM

well if it's thick and guey its gone of bin it mines like milky water,
drys in seconds to a pva finish looks like clear lacquer,
as long as chrome is backed (black silver what ever u use its fine)
and seems to stop 99% of flaking
