A big thanks to all that attended, especially for respecting the rules of the sports centre, without this we would not be able to secure future use of such a great venue.

We fully accept that there are a few things which can be improved at future meetings, and all comments received were happily of a constructive nature. I hope however, the overall experience was a positive one for all racers.

Further thanks must go to event sponsors, Schumacher, Horizon Hobby, CML, Mike Parker and others. Also thanks again to Dianne for running a smooth meeting, and all those who helped assemble or put the track away.

I hope to put together soon a small summary of the event with a few more details, so watch this space;)

John,

It was a cracking day. Great venue, well run, great track.

In fact a really positive day for me to make my comeback !

Really appreciate the efforts of those that made it happen.

Now I need a 4WD so I can get more time on the track !!!

You can have some of my grip next time, I was nearly ripping the tyres off the rims at the end of the straight with my mega slides :woot:

Enjoyed the meeting and had a good result with both classes so I'm well happy.

Not sure what happened to the times in my 4wd final (B) but the result didn't seem to tally with the positions on the track. I think Dianne was sorting something out at the end of the race so I'll have to see exactly were I came when the results go up :)

Cheers for a good days racing. Bring on Rd2 .

you where flying with your truck mate everyone was laughing at you flying down the straight and trying to stop it at the end lol

Had a great day, racing trucks was a great laugh.

Got to say, the event was ran very smoothly and I like the position of the rostrum, it certainly keeps things organised having a waiting area behind the rostrum and one way in/out.

Can't say anything bad about it at all, the track was well laid out and a good design too. I personally love big jumps but in the purpose of making it easier for newcomers I wouldn't advise anything too crazy!

All in all it gets a thumbs up, and as Matt said a points table would be good.

John

Points series is set up and points from meeting are done - just need to know best way to get them to you so that they are in correct format for website. Perhaps I could email you the file - let me have appropriate address to send it.

Note: remember to change the date on entry form from 20th February to 13 February.
