RC Insurance

I see on the BRCA homepage they have a company offering to insure all RC stuff. Do you think it is worth it? There is a excess of £100. I think it could be a good idea, what do all you lot think???????

I don't see why it would be necessary to insure it as a single high value item?

Not criticising just asking.

I wonder if you would have to supply reciepts for everything?

If so, id be screwed.

Can't say for sure but usually pictures will also count as proof of ownership. I lost a couple of bikes 4 years ago to which the value was over £5000 and they accepted pictures. Probably worth checking with the insurance now before you lose anything. You could submit pics now.

Copies of boxes or instruction manuals have been sufficient for me in the past (not for RC stuff, for camera stuff)
