Muchmore 24A Powermater 2.

Hi

I got a MM powermaster 24amp (current version)

anyone else have problems running 3 chargers (@6amps each) off it?

mine seems to start flickering when i run anything more than 18amps off it.

the PS says its a constant 24AMP (peak 30amp).

yours do the same thing?

To be honest, 6A @ 7.2V is about 4A at 12V which is it's output, so really it's maxing out at a constant 12A@12V which is quite poor for the speck.

I bought the newer, red fronted Pro Peak one last week and I think its amazing value for money!

It is probably because the voltage is being pulled down too far. I think there is a small "Dial" on one side of the box (though I have not used one for a while). This allows you to adjust the output voltage. Turn it all the way up. Jonathan

i set it anywhere from 12v to 14v and it still does it.

it says 24Amp constant it should be able to handle 24 amp. 3 chargers at 6amp should handle confortably with a bit to spare.....

it handles around 15amp ok, but around 18amp it will flicker on/off.
