Man thats crazy. I hadn't realised just how much of a basin the track is. I know when its flooded before its been a mess but lets hope with it being clean water there's not too much sediment left everywhere.

I hope Yorkshire water will be doing the clean up??:thumbdown:

Or even hovercrafts. Is it me or are the later pics under even more water?

Apparently the track is not looking good - I have been in touch with Yorkshire Water today and they are looking into it!! They have assured me they will ring me back!!

Water Board hae been in touch and they have organised for a cleaning company to do the clean-up of the track and the container.

They are going down to the track on Wednesday morning to assess what needs doing with the intention of getting it done this week so that we can race on Sunday if the weather is okay.

wow - now that would be a result if they (and the weather) can pull it off!!

Can you keep posted on conditions for this Sunday as a few of us may pop up if weather isn't too bad
