Alex
Change your charger to NiCads and charge the Lipos for only 5 mins on that setting.
This will bring the voltage up.
Then switch back to Lipo charge and they should be fine.
Always store Lipos charged, hence why they might of dropped too low
Hope this helps you

lipo

Hi, i had the same problem last week with a set of Orion saddle packs. The best way to do it is set your charger to 1.0A and charge them that way. They will kick in. If they are saddle packs, charge them individualy. (thanks Dave)

Cheers

Dave

We did this as well, but the lipo started to swell on the nicad setting (have done it before without problems), so its soaking in a salt solution in the back garden.

Keep an eye on the battery while you are charging, store charged or close, and do not leave in the car connected, even with the switch off you will get some discharge - thats how we did ours (overnight !)......... good luck

Whatever you do don't do it indoors and take extra caution

Please note my comment - 5 minutes only - don't charge anymore thatn that in Nicads setting

actually you dont need that long tony, just make sure the voltage is around 6 volts ( or 3 volts for single saddle) then put them back onto lipo mode, that way you watch them and have less chance of problems
id also recomend as futher up you only use 1 amp
YOU HAVE TO DO THIS WITH EXTREME CAUTION

Its all very risky and only works some of the time.

Are you aware that lipos are never to be run flat? If so normally they are in the bin.

I know a shop set on fire doing excatly this. Got distracted and left too long.

The biggest issue is you let your lipo get over discharged, If you do not have a lipo cut off on your esc you must make sure you know how much current you are drawing in each race. and always leave a few hundred spare capacity.

Must agree here... I did the same and Dchd too low... I used the Nimh setting on the B6 tho' and watched for the volts(just a few seconds really!) then switched to lipo and hey presto! job's a carrot..!
