for sale frustration

it's bloody annoying when the title is "stuff for sale" and then no description of what you're selling just an ebay link.

I don't mind ebay links, but at least spend 30 seconds titling the thread properly and writing what you're actually selling!

No titles in sales - frustrating as hell

I agree...it takes seconds to just add a short description.

The template should be changed to only allow descriptions with relevant 'key words' from the text body of the post...that will stop um :)

Yep, got to agree.

The other one is the one that keeps posting with no desription to speak of, no pics and no prices. Just a 'PM for details'....

Thought that wasn't allowed......

That's all I see is for sale threads without pictures even though it's a condition of the for sale section that pictures must be posted.

The last time I suggested that this area should have a couple more people moderating/policing it I was yelled at so I shall say no more.

What I am getting fed up with is people having items for sale and then PM'ing them and not every getting a reply. Even if they just said sorry but your item is no longer available would be fine.

Gotta agree with this, especially as i can't get on Ebay at work anyway haha.

Also, to be fair i think most people probably search Ebay if they're looking for something anyway so surprised Ebay links are actually allowed here now as usually most forums are strictly no Ebay links

well said that man

On our forum, i allow Ebay links etc, but they are in a Seperate, Ebay Sale Section.

Also, description, pics and a price have to be there. If not, Delete ! No reason is given and no communication with the seller either. The reason... Well, there is a big For Sale Rules and Guidlines thread, so if they can't be arsed to read that, why should i be arsed to tell them anything...
