Super Charger Settings GT V2
 

I just brought a SP GT2 on ebay.

Used with old users settings and I thought the thing was gonna launch into the stratsphere stupid fast.

I have taken the settings to a sensible level and it's feels loads better. However I'm unsure on the Supercharger settings as I've had a look on the download setup sheet son the Sp website and this setting is disabled/ no info on these sheets

I am a little concerned as the motor is getting hot and was wondering if this might be subject to a sketchy Supercharger setting?

If anyone has some info it would be very much appreciated.

What motor are you using? When I first got my SP esc I had Losi motors and nomatter what I did they always ran hot on the SP. When one burnt out I canged to SP motors too and while they can run fairly warm at times they run a lot cooler than the Losi's did -although they were fine on my other esc's in the same cars!???

sorry for delay in response havn't been around for a couple of days.

I am using a V3 SP 6.5. Although i'm not running the fan on the Speedo heatsinks as I can't get it to fit in my x11.

I just thought super charger settings might add heat increase. So was wondering if their are any standard/ factory settings people might know about.

Super charger settings are only for "stock" motor use really, don't switch them on for off road or mod touring (will feel terrible anyway!).

The SP stuff allows you to run loads more timing than many other speedos so that is probably where the heat comes from. Check the timing setting on the ESC. They also like to be geared up and run cooler when loaded more, say 2 teeth up on an LRP X12 or similar (but don't go too far).

Standard settings for off-road modified is to NOT use the supercharger software!

I'd recommend picking up the LCD programmer (if you don't already have one) and re-flashing the software to the 205MOD.

I had an idea it would be something like that.. The hings go like stink anyway so I must admit I was scratching my head to why you would want yo boost it up.. But the stock thing makes sense.

I'll have a look but I dont actually have the flashy LCD programmer so i'll check some settings.
