Shamblers - shambles advice needed!

I might of aquired a 12ft Recaro banner, which I am trying to put up in my room at Uni, only problem is it keeps falling down!

Any ideas on a way to stop it falling down but doesn't mark the walls?

Tried sticky velcro, stick on hooks, blue tak, board pins into sticky pads

Ant,
You need to measure the height of the ceiling in two adjacent corners and cut two lengths of wood 5cm longer than that.
Wedge the poles into the corners and hang the banner using tie wraps, staples or whatever you have.
Simples.

Yeah would make a good hammock..

Sod trying to stick it to the walls Ant, do the student thing and on your next night out come back with some Traffic cones and some fencing spikes from a builders site. Insert spikes into cones, Banner onto spikes. Should hold it up.

It needs to go on the wall, its too big to do anything else with it!!!

We do already have life-sized cardboard cutouts of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and James Dean in our flat

Nail it to the wall and just stand in front of the damage when they inspect your room at the end of the year. We managed to burn a hole about the size of a dinner plate in the living room carpet of our last student house (booze, cigars, highly flammable kebab wrappers...). When we had the end-of-let inspection one of my mates just stood on the hole whilst the landlord had a look round for damage. Bloody hilarious when he gave us our deposits back!

This is when I first put it up (till it fell down!)

You can see the bed in the corner to show how big it is! I was squashed in the corner of the room to take the picture :)

Go

Just spank a couple of nails in and filla over the holes when your moving out. Then go to b&q and get a sample pot of paint to touch it up.
