New servo not working
 

just received my new Ansmann servo, and it dosent want to work with the car, theres no life in it. do i need to set it up or something ?

Did you putt it link it on the good way of the receiver?

the plug fitted both ways into the receiver, tried both ways and still nothing happened

can any one help? really want to get it up and running

Ansmann servos had a very high failure rate from new. I sent many back under warranty when i was one of their dealers.

I suggest you contact them and have it returned, or just purchase ANY other servo.

Not good news ! got it from JE spares so hopefully i'll have no problems

See if you can exchange it for a futaba or Bluebird instead. The Bluebird servos are also from Ansmann, but are actually good value for money.
