Diff Oil Suggestions, low traction

I am after some suggestions on diff oils for low traction surfaces.

I do my weekly club racing on a polished wood floor and normally run 20k front diff and 10k rear diff.

People at the club are starting to play around with the oils now and I wanted to see what peoples opinions are on this and what suggestions you had

Try 10k front and 5k rear, works for me!

Everyone has a different driving style and like their car setup differently.

The way it works is loose or low traction the lighter the oil. Higher traction surfaces require slightly heavy oil.

If you like a pointy car the bigger the difference you need to have between the front and rear oils.

If you want more constant less aggressive steering have them closer together.

Use shock settings that the team drivers use but you'll have to find the diff setting that suits you.

Thanks again for the advice!

I'll give the set ups a go!

With the 20/10 set up the cars very pointy and is a bit of a handfull when on the gas so I'm just trying to mellow the car out and make it easier to drive.

The shock set up is good and the car generates good grip but the gear diffs may need a bit of work

hi mark
with the amount of durango`s now at the club i think this is going to be intresting.
we tried the 20K 10 k diffs and found them unsuitable in the way as it lacked on power steering so we have tried different oils. the 10k-5k was better but still had trouble turning in on power so we have tried to go lower, much lower, i did not see ed car last night but he told me it was good, so we will leave it like that, as a start i would suggest 7k-5k but please note he was on brand new tyres last night and he does like lots of turn in as well .also there are alot of other things that we are working on and his car is not the same every week and will not be for the next month or so please ask, also ed does not like the roll bar route
hope this helps
