Cougar gearing

Hi just after a starting point for gearing

the spur size is 76t with a 7.5 motor. what pinion size is ideal.

i run a 7.5t novak ballistic with an 80t spur and 24 pinion and its perfect. Try a 23 and work from there mate after you check temps

i would have said around 22-23 depending on how twisty the track is.
