2.4GHZ Radios

Hi,

2 questions, what is the difference between the FUtaba 3GR 2.4ghz, and the 3vc 2.4ghz? I assume the 3vc is better but in what ways?

Also, does anyone know how to set up multiple receivers on a transmitter with 2.4ghz (ie have a receiver in each car I own rather than just one receiver), I am not sure how you link receivers/transmitters when you don't have a fixed frequency!?

On our spectrum, the transmitter locks to our reciever, switch it all off, switch on our other car with other reciever, transmitter locks to that reciever.

both recievers are bonded to our transmitter, our transmitter will only control our recievers - but "it" will chose a frequency that is "free"......not always the same frequency, and will not control another reciever unless we bond it.

thats pretty roughly it, but it works well and is well cool, no more waiting for a peg or running back to change a crystal cause someone else is "on" it, or having to go catch it after a race cause someone in the next has switched on with the same crystal !!!

Check out cost of extra recievers when chosing transmitters, some cost lots

Hi again,

Is 2.4ghz the same in US as in UK?

I know that sounds stupid, but am I right in thinking that in 40mhz asia uses different frequency blocks to in the UK?
