7.5T Motor with XP SC450-BL ESC?

Does anyone know if the mentioned esc is capable of running with a 7.5t motor, also the current motor I'm running is sensorless could I use a sensored motor with this esc?

Im running this in my b4.1 so will be keen to know to!

They run a 6100kv kit with this esc but dont know what its limit is

6100kV is low 5.5t high 6.5t so a 7.5t should be alright. However, its a sensorless system and a 7.5t motor is unlikely to be designed for sensorless use (most are sensored). It will work, but don't be surprised if it cogs badly.

Cheers for the replies. I decided to go with an 8.5t motor (25 tooth pinion) partly because I didn't want to be on the limit of the esc's capability and partly because the shop didn't have a 7.5t. Had the car out for 15 mins earlier and the difference is unbelievable, had trouble keeping the front 2 wheels down. Didn't have problems with cogging but like I say only did about 15 mins.

Hi tom what motor did you buy?

And as si said is it cogging alot? Or jumping about at low speed?

If you find the wheels coming up add more weight on the front and adjust the slipper clutch

Hi, I sent you a pm but not sure if it failed. The motor I'm using is a losi excelorin 8.5t (£49.99 from modelsport uk) doubt it will be the best motor for that price but at the moment it's all I need. Everything seemed fine no heat in the esc or motor and no cogging just the excessive wheelies I need to tame. Only thing else I changed with the motor was a 25 tooth pinion.
